most important thing is not to get too wrapped up in tribunal... FIND ANOTHER JOB... any job would be good. Then you have done everything to help yourself, and the tribunal eventually will top up your earnings and you should be in a good position, as they will then award compensation on top of it, if necessary.

As long as you wasnt on probation and they haven't taken correct disciplinary/ redundancy proceedures into account and they havent sacked you for gross misconduct (having proof of this) then your unfair dismissal claim could stand up.

But please get out there and get work... any work... just do it.

Dont sit and wait and hope this bails you out like its your only option.

Also, have you considered selling the house? sounds like you have paid off a big chunk of your mortgage, down sizing? maybe?

    5) Keep everyone happy, healthy and entertained (Done, Doing, Going to do)
  • You dont have any redundancy rights unless you've worked for the company for at least 2 years. What grounds do you have to take them to a tribunal?

  • I'm not after redundancy. I had one accident and got sacked for gross misconduct
