In praise of Salter homewares

Anyway, both were still within Salter's 10 year guarantee period so I contacted them.
As I was able to give them proofs of purchase for both items I am now expecting delivery of replacements. :T

I have a moral dilemma now.
Three sets of scales (not two) have arrived today!!!!
What would you do?

If you ring them the chances are its either too much trouble and /or will cost them to much to transport them back so they may allow you to keep them and have a clean conscience0

It does make you wonder how companies survive when they send out items worth around £45 without checking doesn't it?!
Well I've emailed them.They're normally quick to respond so it will be interesting to hear what they have to say!!
Ah well, they want one set back, which is fair enough......I feel better knowing I did the right thing.:wave:0
