Joint Loan but not Joint PPI!!!

My wife and I have a loan with Paragon. I was just about to post the 1st letter to reclaim the PPI when I noticed that they sold us PPI but the PPI only covers one of us. Should I mention this in my claim? Could this also be a mis-sell?

many PPI plans are first person only. Even those that are not tend to reduce the benefits down on the first person to compensate. So, that isnt in itself grounds for mis-sale unless you are complaining that you think your wife should have had protection.

Hi there, if you have grounds of being mis sold for any reason then give it a go.

These types of insurances are complained about also.

For a secured loan myself and hubby taken out, he was sold a Single PPI, where I was not covered, yet if anything happened to him, then I would still have a responsibility to pay for the loan, again not covered.

For more information check this link out here below, also follow the guidelines of reclaiming, there are also templates on the link, but write in your own reasons, good luck.
