Turkey resort advice?

Hi all:hello:
I'm looking to book a last minute cheapish week away with my mum to Turkey in June, so I'm after some advice or reviews on resorts, we want something with plenty to do or within reach of things but not 18-30 clubby, I'm 29 & my mum is 58 but we like to explore rather than stay in the hotel all week. We want to go from East Mids/BHam anytime between 10th-20th June
we're looking at Bodrum, Kusadasi & Alanya, any recs? Our budget is £330 each so I'm guessing we won't get much for that but were hoping for HB or AI, one hotel we saw was Orient Palace (Alanya) Adakule Hotel (Altinkum) & Batihan (Bodrum) anyone been to any?
Although they are within budget its through teletext, and when I called the company direct it came up as more, does anyone have any tips on getting it cheaper, or places to check out?
Thanks soooo much in advance,
Lisa

I would choose Altinkum. Altinkum has everything you need, not as big as bodrum but has it all, and a bit more upmarket. (three lovely beaches) One end of resort bars, discos etc, the other restaurants and smaller bars. Can get everywhere within 10 - 20 mins walk. Loads of trips to do if thats what you want. A nice friendly family resort that has it all.0

thanks for that recommendation
I'll check out the prices and availability, have you been before? If so where abouts did you stay hotel wise? Our budget is fairly tight (350pp) but we were hoping to get something decent for that.
Sounds like a good spot though, I'm a designer so I'm uber-picky but as you say a bit of everything and more classy than benidorm and its bound to be a winner! lol
cheers again

I have been to both & I would also choose Altinkum more to do there than in Olu Deniz, although that is nice but I thought quite.
At least in Altinkum you've got the chioce of what to do.
Loads of resturants, bars & nice beaches.
There is a lot of trips you can do from there.
Fethiye is nice & good to go shopping.
But hated that mountain journey when ever you wanted to go anywhere from Olu Deniz. Not good with heights.0 -

Teletext annoys me - I have called before and the prices go up in price. One company I complained about because they were advertising for 495 and I called and it was 1200 each!!0

I can second the Altinkum. Try out 'Big Nose Bar' and White Swan for fantastic food.
Everyone is so friendly. Third beach is the best no hassle and the beah restaurant is marvelous. Great for kids as well. Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0
