This is the second email i`ve sent them, but still no reply and still no deep fat fryer.!!!!

Finally!

Nice e-mail from CS manager apologising and saying that fryer will be on its way.
The emails from cs reps seemed a world away from cs managers email. Strange. Anyway this goes to show that problems CAN be resolved with Kays, and they do honour their offers.
Thanky'all for your input especially summer01 . If you hadn't taken the time to post what you did then I wouldn't have chased this up- Thankyou.

No joy for me with this one.( used F4EJ) I emailed them on no show of fryer and got reply saying all the code entitled me to was 20% discount.
Was this a leaflet for a first order or for ongoing customers who have ordered before? I'd be grateful if anyone knows for sure.

grrr! Just got another email from them saying gift is only with Kays 'their sister site' and they Kays lifestyle only offer 20% off.
I have pointed out that as their 'site' accepted the code for the gift they should honour it.

It miight be worth emailing them back and asking them to forward your email to the manager, this is what has worked for others. I am beginning to think they have standard types of replies, but once the managers reply you generally find you do get your free gift - good luck

Numerous emails have flown back and forth. Each response has been from a different person. Each saying totally conflicting things!
code does not entitle you to free gift.
It's not us but our sister company.
Your gift will be despatched when you make a payment ( I've paid already)

The offer is closed as we have run out of this item due to the popularity of the offer.
My last email mentioned trading standards and asked that my complaint be passed on to a Manager.
I have now had a response saying my fryer will be coming after all ( even though they had definitely run out)
If I ever actually get it I think I'll mount it on a plinth as a monument to perseverance.
