Cease to Trade..

Hi... Been snooping about on and off for a while and thought today was as good as any for that 1st post....

Been told today I'll receive all of Mays weekly wages guaranteed but after the end of may the LTD company I work for is ceasing to trade.

Also told there is not enough money in the pot for redundancy... Just shy of 3 years service and that they will supply us with forms to enable us to get the money from the Goverment.

This sounds to me like Voluntary liquidation.

Not recived anything in writing other than the memo on company noticeboard.

What happens next? What about notice period?... Surely they cant give notice that they are voluntarily going into liquidation.. Any views opinions etc?
