Microsoft used to do Student licences for office, you could buy pretty much anywhere - like pcworld etc for about £70 As memory serves (bear in mind, my memory is awful! - as is my spelling) you'll need a letter from your college/uni to confirm that you are a student.0

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/160735Don't worry you no longer need to prove you're a student. Microsoft now offer the "Home and Student" edition which is licensed for non-commercial use on up to 3 computers.0 -
If any family members are in the NHS, you can get the full thing for about £9.50 to my understanding... Some sort of partnership deal. Also, The Insolvency Service will be offering a similar deal too soon...
You could check as well with other people you know who have it as, to my knowledge, the standard one is licensed for up to 3 pc's meaning you could ask to borrow the disk off your mate and have it completely licensed and legal for free! (or a couple of pints atlease lol

If you're a student, then try https://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk as they sell the ultimate version for office 2007 for just under £40. That even includes publisher!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0
