Inside Track Property Investment

Has anybody had any experience or heard any reports about this company which has people investing in the buy-to-let property market. A friend has just gone in hook, line and sinker and I am just wondering if I should be concerned? I know there are lots of 'cowboy' operators so I am just interested in peoples knowledge of/experience of Inside Track
Thanks

IMHO I would always be concerned at companies like that, using all the classic dodgey sales techniques - like the free seminars, which are a chance to advertise the real product, which you pay for. They spend the time convincing you that you can earn a fortune, with little money/knowledge of the market, and that the full course is worth £x thousand, then at the last minute offer the 'drop-close' where you can get it £500 cheaper or half price or whatever, if you sign up on the night.

That's not to say that there is no money in Buy-to-let, but I wouldn't go for these kinds of people.

As always, to make some money, you need to put in quite a bit of work, like local research, reading around the subject in books/magazines and talking to local estate agents/letting agents. Also, finding a good mortgage broker is a task well worth undertaking.

Having said all that, I hope it works out for your friend, without losing much money....

I am going to move this to the property board as it isn't about freedom from the mortgage;)
