Has anyone else got the Malaga and got it up and running yet?
I had 2 of the Malaga chairs delivered this afternoon and I don't know if I'm having a blonde moment or something but I have problems assembling them. The bit I have a problem with is the seat height and back tilt adjustment 'thingy' which I can't get to work. There is no movement in it at all almost like it is locked for transit, am I missing something obvious?

Soo,
My husband put mine together and had no problems.
He said to jiggle it. The side lever that is.

Thanks calleyw, both chairs seem to have that mechanism locked solid and the handle just rattles loosely but that's all.

Just ordered the Malaga for £26.04 inc delivery which has to be a bargain in anyones books.
My only query is that I appear to have 'back ordered' the thing....anyone any idea exactly what that means. out of stock perhaps??
Steve
That is not fair why did I have to pay 29.99 I only ordered it wednesday. And I ordered 3 reams of paper to take me over the £35 limit to get free delivery.
How come you only paid £26.04 including delivery. As if the order is less than £35 you pay £3.95 for delivery.
Back order means they don't have it in the warehouse. And are awaiting stock. As I rang up when I finally got registered and it went to back order and the CS guy told me that they just arrived in the warehouse. I did a refresh and then it let me order.
I think a complaint is coming on. Not fair.

That is strange not one but two. Me thinks a call to customer service is in order.
As it sounds like they are bit broken. What a pain in the backside.

I did call them earlier but it was a bit too late to catch anyone who could really help, so they suggest I call back tomorrow.
I'm sure this is going to turn out to be something really simple that I haven't done, but apart from the handle that goes in and out there isn't any other moving parts.
I hate making things up out of a flatpack.

If it's the same as my old chair when you put the chair onto the lift bit you need to ensure the handle is positioned right (up) so it can then depress the lift. if you pull it out to the right this should make the chair tilt when leant on?!0 -
Don't know what happened with the free P&P CalleyW.
When I was going through the checkout I seem to remember the actual chair price came up as £22. something then the £3.95 P&P got added on. Just hope it comes out that way on my credit card!0 -

Is there any chance you can put a link to the page that you used to order the chair.
As I am really interested in to why there is not just different codes but different prices for the same blinking product.
The chair is very nice and comfy sat on it now. But I am very confused.

Chair back on offer at £29.99+VAT. Need to add something else to take it over the £30 band for free delivery.
I got one of these a couple of months ago and it's pretty good, although the padding in the seat base is now pretty flat and I can see that in about 6 months or so I will have to use a cushion. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0
