Halifax One 0% 12 months Bal Transfers...

in Credit cards
Just applied online and been told i've got a credit limit of £10K.
However i cancelled the same card one nearly 2 years ago when the 0% ran out. Is it possible that they will realise this and put me on the standard rate?
I,m only saying this because a similar thing happened to me with Nationwide recently who have a policy that only one offer is allowed per person in whatever time period.
Has anyone any idea if halifax do the same.
Thanks for any advice.
Cheers.

Is this same as Bank of scotland 'one card' thats also 0% for 12 months online... I have never used BoS or halifax b4 so this might be worth a go.
Do you do the balance transfer online when you apply?Official DFW Nerd - Member no. 045

Yeah you do it online but i tried to transfer £12k but only got a credit limit of £10K.
Was wondering how much they will transfer. Any ideas? I would guess at £9.5k but dont really know.

Think it is 95% of credit limit but depends on lender I think.
Going to give this card a go as my MBNA one is due to run out soon.

I transferred a balance of £5k to my new &MORE card with a £5k limit. How common are these transfer restrictions? My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I transferred £1999.59 to a &More card on a £2000 limit about 8 months ago with no problems so you should be fine
