Online cahoot account email

Ive just checked my emails and have received an email from Cahoot Online Banking telling me to re activate my account as it has been blocked after several attempts by somebody to access it...................... the problem is that i dont bank with cahoot or have an account with them!!!! Have I received an email meant for someone else? Is it a fake email? There was no name or anything just telling me the above????

I get them all the time and I DO have a Cahoot account. It's definitely a phishing scam.

The email did have a link to click, I didn't click it though! I've deleted it now. I was just worried incase it was meant for someone else.

I seem to be being targeted with these phishing emails as i have just received one from Abbey, again telling me that my account has been comprimised and to click the link etc..... I dont bank with abbey and have deleted it. Is it only me or is anyone else getting them???

I get loads of them too. You just have to remember that no bank/bs would ask for your details from an email.

I have had e mails from cahoot & abbey today - I thought it was just me targeted. I have never had these type of e mails before. I will delete them & be more vigilant in the future.
