Refused by A&L as I have a virgin card need a new card ASAP as 0% runs out soon.

I've just been refused by A&L as I have a virgin card on which I've taken out a special offer as both are run by MBNA. When is the soonest I can apply for a new card as I need one sharpish as I've got £8300 on egg 0% which runs out soon 11/04/2006. Going to clear virgin(CL £6000) and then I've only got 2300 on egg so need to shift it onto another card and I've also got Mint(CL 1450) with 1300 on it which runs out on 01/06/2006.

Any suggestions welcome.

I don't want to worry you but I've never heard of an Egg 0% period ending in the middle of the month. They normally run their 0% deals until the 1st of the month so, is it the 1st April or 1st May? I'd suggest you check your T&C's.
