Yet another DRO question!!! (I guess an Bankruptcy person could answer too!!!)

Does the OR look into your "safe" bank account? Are they able to do so without your consent?

I suppose he could as he has control over your finances.

If i'm wrong someone with more knowledge will be along to correct me and give the correct advice.

In bankruptcy the OR could ask to look at your 'safe' account if he suspected that you were not being honest with him about your money, though ths is rare and hardly ever happens.

I dont know how it works with BR, but I was granted a DRO on the 14th May, not been told that the OR will be in touch unless there is something wrong, and the only person i had to show bank statements to were CAB and no details of bank accounts went on the DRO. According to the adviser that i had at CAB the applications for DRO are pretty much just a spot check thing with 1 in every so many actually getting looked at by an OR and not just the clerk that sends out all of the letters and puts you up on the insolvency register. Maybe thats just a theory though.
