Paypal Refunded Payment! Why?!?!

I was looking through my transactions on paypal today, and i saw that on the 10th of may a payment i received (only for £10) was refunded to the buyer a few hours after she paid!
It didnt show up on my Ebay, so i went on and posted the item, she got it and left positive feedback, and so did i. So it was all fine until today when i saw this payment had been refunded! I contacted paypal and said i didnt do it and they basically said that i must of!
I know its only a tener, but ive sent some one a load of things for free! Im so angry- what can i do??
Paypal said i should email the buyer and ask them to send payment again but realistically- are they going to do that?!

It's likely it was a reversal of some sort, either where the card that was used for payment did not have enough funds, or was used fraudulently.

What has the buyer said? Do they know that they have had the money back?

Not everyone is a lying, cheating toad these days - if it is a genuine mistake, the chances are they will pay up again.

I just emailed them so i will probably get a reply from them in the next few days when they come online. They didnt mention anything about it to me, but then i didnt even notice it until today so maybe they havent either
