AOL problem

Is anyone else having problems accessing AOL.

This morning it was very slow and crashing and now I cannot connect.

I have a Thomson Speedtouch router and all lights are green to go but when I test connect it fails on the last one.

I cannot connect even via IE.

I get a tick for:

1. DSL
2. ATM
3. ETHERNET
4 PPP
5. IP

and a X for Internet.

Further notes say:

Connectivity to Gateway OK
Connectivity to DNS server bit red X

I have connected to web on my laptop via a neighbours router!

I have been having the same sort of problems, although I also think that my lappie is running very slow.
(about to post a question on that subject )

The same happend to me a couple of weeks ago, the customer services have really improved and I had a new router in 5 working days.

It was work at my telephone exchange that caused my problems, my old router couldnt keep up but it was ok when I phoned the tekkies and they reduced the speed until my new router arrived.

I gave in and rang AOL and am now back on line.

I had to reset my router, re-enter user name and password of router and I connected to different DNS server number.
