This may well be a silly question, but could someone please advise me about what a let agreed property actually is?
What are the benefits of let agreed over a normal rental, and are there any draw backs?
Thanks for your help in advance. I'm having brain meltdown today!

This means that the let for this property has been agreed. So, the landlord has found and agreed tenants (subject to reference checks) and the property is no longer available.'I can't deny the British influence on my accent and mannerisms, but I don't know the British national anthem, I didn't weep for Princess Diana and I always cheer when Britain loses at sport. That's how British I am' Constantine-Simms. :T

Are you talking as in "advertised" as let agreed?
All it means is that someone wants to rent it but the paperwork is not completed yet (references, contract) so can't quite say it's "'let" yet! Just the same us the difference between under offer and sold!0 -
Yes, advertised as let agreed. Thanks Gwhiz... I won't bother with the let agreed properties then!0

Include them in the searches as they can always fall out. If its the perfect property for you, the agent may still allow viewings until all contracts are done ,refs are in and payments cleared.
Always worht keeping options open! Some are completely unavailable but some may just accept a higher offer.0 -
Let Agreed means: Look, we've let this one out. It's a form of advertising/promotion for the agency. If a LL had an empty flat with another agent they might see that and think "wonder if they can let mine too then"
If you don't know what Let Agreed means, you need to stick about here and learn the ins/outs of renting before you sign anything.0
