Is this a stupid question?????

Dont know how BT work as I've never done one before as I've only ever used cashback cards until recently.

Since discovering this site I have started to do the slow stooze and applied for a 0% card for 9months and putting all my spend on this card.

But can anyone tell me if I apply for a BT card with 0 fees, what questions do they ask (I presume they ask who the balance is with and transfer on your behalf)?? Because I wanted to BT to a credit card which I dont have a balance with, then call the company to say I want the balance sent to me via cheque etc. The only reason I ask this is because when I have a plus balance on my Nationwide/Abbey card from cashback I received I called them up and they sent me a cheque. Is this a stupid question???

Thanks in advanced

Well as you don't know how BT & SBT work you need to read Martins articles in yellow at the top of the page until you understand it if you don't you will soon incur interest charges and transfer fees this then makes it very unlikely that you will turn in a profit if you are stoozing.

Generally they only ask for the sort codes and card account number to which you are transfering your balance, but as you haven't got a debt you need to create one or the Balance Transfer cannotr take place.Again read up on this.

it sounds like they sent you a cheque for the years cashback?
although you haven't made this very clear.
credit card cheques are only issued by Mint,A&L,MNBA ,Virgin do SBT via the phone.
I would try and write down your questions and seperate your question out so you can then look at Martins articles and the cards Terms and conditions and you will find it easier to understand how to go about doing what you want to achieve.
If you get stuck post again perhaps in the credit card forum?
