If you already have an email stating this, then I'm totally confused.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Hello Merry_Gentry so am I, I sent email to OR asking them to confirm if they had received my cheque and some paperwork my tax is easy I earn roughly the same each month, had a rough idea for OH tax but he has had time off when I asked about my OH tax was advised that they had confirmation form HMRC that tax they have received was for the period Nov to March and that a payment for April would be due, advised that the new tax code had not applied and OR confirmed that was correct they have asked me if I want to buy BI by 09th June and to do so I would really need to use the money that I have saved thinking it was for tax but don't want to be caught out further down the road that they have made an error and tax should have been due0

No Queen, I mean you have confused me. The OR has already confirmed in writing that they won't be asking for this money, so I don't understand why you want anything more from them. They have already told you what you wanted to know. I think I'll bow out before I confuse things anymore.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Just worried that they may come back at a later date and ask for the tax from Feb to April don't understand why they would not want this I am totally confused0

If I remember correctly your OH wasn't working when he went BR which means he shouldn't have had a nil tax code in the first place.
If he was working on BR date then apologies - ignore this post.

Hi, we went BR on 05th Nov and returned to work 10th November before then odd weeks and days here and there so officially back 10th Nov0
-
Well I have sent another email asking for confirmation that no more tax is due waiting for response0
-
just had reply to email (very quick) which is follows:-
Dear Mrs
The payments we received from HMRC is all that was required from the period of Nov 08 to March 09, it was received in one single payment, however, I'm not exactly too sure of much extra we require from yourselves if any. The payment were originally received mid to late march. Therefore as the tax year has started of 01st April you may not be required for any further payments to us (in face, I got clarification of that -NO FURTHER PAYMENTS ARE REQUIRED)
All good the money I saved thinking it would be needed for TAX I can use for purchasing BI etc0 -
Nice one, seems like good news! :money:0
