Anybody what should I do0

Speak to your OR's office...We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

Yep - I agree. Talk to your OR. If its wrong they can sort it out and if its right they can explain why.0

I have sent emails and had spoken direct last email said the HMRC had confirmed that payment was from Nov to March but when I spoke with HMRC they said that it was upto 21st Jan and that there was an over payment so does that mean that they do not need to collect tax from Feb to Apr of approx £480 I have sent about 6 emails and they all say the same0
-
Shall I send another asking the same0

I wouldn't send an email, but talk to them. Be quite firm and tell them that this issue has been going on for several months now and that you and OH and very confused as to whats happening. Tell them that you really need their help in this matter (a psychological thing, makes them feel good and more likely to help!) to sort this out as soon as possible.
It probably something simple such as the nil tax code hasn't stopped yet this tax year, between OHs employer/HMRC/OR. Then again.....0 -
Just to explain nil tax code applied to OH on 21st Jan any tax before this has been sent from HMRC to OR, 05th Feb 1st pay on nil tax code, saved tax from 05th Feb until 06th April this was what I was advised I should do, then the beginning of April new tax code applied to now paying tax as normal but OR said that they have received tax upto date from HMRC but what about the tax that I have saved from nil tax code should they not be asking for this0

Queen, you really need to speak to your OR. Simply explain that you still have the tax from February through to April 09 and need to know who to pay it to. Don't write, don't email - call them. They may be extremely busy, and that's where the misunderstanding has probably arisen.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Thanks I will try again I have had several conversation about it but still says that tax has been paid upto end of financial year I can only think that HMRC have confirmed the amount of tax that is due since he returned to work in Nov but HMRC said that the £346 collected between Nov & Jan was an over payment has he shouldn't have paid any tax, so if OR has asked what tax is due for the year and the same amount has been paid perhaps they don't need to collect exctra tax from us because they have the correct amount of tax for income earnt, I just don't want a letter landing obn my mat in a few months time, asking for this money0

If they are happy that the amount you have set aside represents an overpayment and is therefore not due to them, ask them to put it in writing so you won't have a letter landing on your mat in a few months time.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000
