TW Steel watch - outside warranty

Hiya, I bought a watch which came with a 2 year warranty.
The warranty expired at the end of April.
It's been sent back twice now, once outside of the warranty to be fixed for the same problem. When picking the watch up, I wasn't charged. So I asked if this was a common fault, to then be told it was.
The problem I've had is the second hand coming off, and just lose inside the watch. And also, the minute hand has become detached, causing it to rotate as you move the watch, thus not keeping any time.
Just wondered if you think it would be worthwhile writing a letter to the watch company. As to be honest, I have no confidence that it won't break again. So preferably, I want a new watch or my money back, as I know that it will happen again.
What are your thoughts??

TW Steel is the maker if I read the OP correctly - nice watches.
If this is a known fault then the watch is not fit for purpose, and should be replaced or the cost refunded.
Regardless of cost and who it was bought from0 -

Make: TW Steel
Model: TW22 - 50mm
Cost: £300
Bough From: Selfridges
Regarding the "known fault", this was what the girl said who gave me my watch back. It would be nice to find out if this was indeed a fault which has been reported on other TW Steel watches, and not just limited to the type that I own.0 -

I have a relative who has one, now owned it for two years, and has no problems at all0 -
