ive worked for orange insurance and we paid out when theres been folk who drop it in the rain its classed as accidental damage and is coverableReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -

The rain is irrelevant unless it's water damaged. If you'd dropped it in the dry and it broke, then you're covered if you have accidental damage insurance.
What is the actual nature of the damage? If for example, the screen is smashed, then the fact that it landed in a puddle cannot be relevant if the primary damage is due to impact. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Most phones are water resistant (i.e. a few drops of rain) but not waterproof. Immersion in water may be excluded under your policy-take a look at the details. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Depending what make it is, I seem to recall in the area of the battery there is a sticker normally red/white if this gets wet it changes colour or fades, then the phone is classed as being water damaged and any warranty void, might be a idea to have a look to see if anything like that has happenedANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0
