Discharged bankruptcy - Credit Score

I'm new to the site so please bear with me. I was discharged from my bankruptcy on the 13th March this year 2009, and I want to start to get my credit score back what it once was.. Please can anyone advise on how I can go around doing this? I briefly saw one of Martin Lewis TV programmes where a discharged bankruptcy was trying to do the same thing.. however I missed most of it.

Please can anyone advise?

It'll be difficult while the BR sits on your files to really make much difference to your credit scores until the bankruptcy drops of at 6yrs...but every little helps

There is a sticky at the top of the board giving you step by step instructions on how to clean up your Credit Reference Files, that is the best place to start.

I agree with Phil. Until 6 years after the bankruptcy date it is a case of "damage limitation" really.

Credit scores are a myth.
