First of all, don't panic!
google N245 form and the first link (from debt center dot co dot uk) will take you to the form you need. download it, print it off, fill it in and send it to the relevent address (ie the address for payment or correspondance) with a letter explaining your situation.
Good luck, and chin up0 -
thanks for your reply we are in such a mess at the moment - we seem to get on track and then this- we have numerous debts other than this - all with lloyds tsb - credit cards/.loan/overdraft - i am contemplating just ringing them and lowering all payments as we are paying hundreds to them each months (all agreed repyment amounts) failing that I feel like just walking away from everything....0

well they say it has to be paid in full, but not everyone has £5000 lying around to just give away. Fill in that form, and send it off. See what happens and if they still say it has to be paid in full, offer to pay what you can each month. They can't refuse to take weekly/monthly payments as they would then be refusing your money!
Good luck again and don't worry about it. Whenever you got the knees kicked from underneath you, remember that one day you'll fall with your bum in the marmelade!
(no im not sure what that means either....lol)0 -
