How Can I Get My Money Back

after buying a service for one month only on the net I got debited several times on my credit card (on the Continuous Payment Authority system I was referred to on this website. well almost a year at a rate of about £17 per month by a company i believe based in the US called https://www.freelanceyourproject.com . I have emailed them the error but they do not seem to be responding. has anyone dealt wiht them? halifax are reimbursing for a few amounts - about half but there is another £100 which is due. any tips on what you would do? if anyone deals wtih the company maybe some of your info woudl help to convince them to pay up. ihave found it quite a useful site in the past . they even credited me 20 US but never saw this either. Oh and by the way Halifax also made an error and billed me for something that was from another company too which they have reimbursed too.
Thanks in advance

You may have to consider closing that account and opening another one.

This will make no difference. A CPA can continue after an account has been closed.

The only way to end a CPA is by contacing the company taking the money from your credit card.

this is the reply i got from the company https://www.freelanceyourproject.com who
are debiting me . I believe they are based in the US:

I have no accounting records from the previous owner ... you need to
go back tothe Credit Agency that's billing you and find out, specifically,
    where it's
coming from. Just because this Site and it's e-mail are referred to in your
statement, does not mean we generated a bill. I'm not now
billing you. That's all I can do. Regards

i have emailed this back: please give me details of the credit agency.

does anyone have any ideas apart from this. I think they are really taking
    me for a ride.

    any help appreciated.

    thanks in advance

Sounds like a feeble excuse to me!

You might be able to report them to your credit card company providing the email they sent you as evidence, however.
