disgusted with Halifax

Do not know if this has been raised before and if so am sorry to raise it again.
Have got a halifax credit card with cash back. Had 3817 points on it which I make £38.17. only got £35. so was surprised when received new statement that the £3.17 was not carried forward. Phoned them to be told that only 500 points are carried forward, so have lost £3.17. not alot I know but it is the principle of the thing, only used their card for the cashback .
Have now stopped the card and will use my Tesco one for the restaurant vouchers, (love eating out and only way can afford to!!)

It may have been stated in their terms and conditions, which people in general tend not to read properly. Might be worth checking. It makes sense to to do this in blocks of 500 (£5) but this should have been made clear.

Check the t&c's just to make sure they're not pulling a fast one.

Must admit i never use cashback but i imagine it is somewhere in the small print. As you say its the principle of the thing, maybe if you contact them they'll give you the money back, as a valued customer and all.
