Replacing Bay Windows

I'm desperately needing to get my front windows replaced as we're getting terrible draughts in all of them, plus they're a bit of a pain as the only parts that open are at the top.
Basically it's two large bay windows and one very small bay window that need replacing. All three are currently split up into 3 windows - two 60cms and one 180cm for the big ones and 3 x 60cms for the small one.
Does anyone have any ideas what sort of price range I need to be looking at? Also I've been recommended a company but they aren't FENSA regulated. I've read some very conflicing comments on the benefits of FENSA so would be interested to get some feedback.
Many thanks to anyone who can help!

Don't know about reasonable prices for this but with regard to your recommendation you should find out if they are registered with a different regulation body. FENSA isn't the only one - though it is the main one.. Have a look at and goto "click to find contractor" and enter the postcode of your recommended company.
If they aren't a member of FENSA/CertAss/similar(not sure if there are any others!) then you would need to contact your council's building regulations department and will have to pay to get them to check the work.
Either way your best bet on getting prices is to get some quotes in from a few companies - preferably recommendations.
To help others give you a ballpark price, is this uPVC windows you want or wooden?

Cheers Andy (top name! ;-)) Thanks for the info.
Yes, uPVC windows. We're right on the coast here so it's probably the better option.
They were recommended to us so I'll get a quote at the very least along with a couple of other firms that people have used.0 -
you havent given any heights for these windows based on what weve done in the past id say your looking between £2200 and 3000 from a fensa/certass registered company .as far as fensa and certass is concerned certass seem not to be as stringent with there rules in the manchester area it seems that the companies who have gone bankrupt come back as certass registeredif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0
