Hi
I would appreciate a bit of advice. I suspected my pc was infected and ran a check with microsoft online scanner. It found 3 things that it did not fix - TrojanSpy: Win32/zbol-gen!C
C:\windows\system32\twext.exe. Thats all the info it gave me. Off to work now but tonight hopefully, I will try to get it fixed.

Hi Jackie, hope that you do.
Having viruses/trojans/spyware like this on your PC can be damaging to your security and identity.
You said you only scanned it with microsoft online scanner and that it didnt fix the problems. Huh well that doesnt surprise me.
The best online scanners are here for you.
www. kaspersky.co.uk/virusscanner
www. housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/
Sorry forum wont let me post links yet!!
Anyway try those then you will also need to download and install some anti-spyware.
You should go to Google and search for.. SpyBotS&D & SpywareBlaster (Both free)
Then get a good anti-virus. The AVG Free one is probably the best free one. Else if you want to buy an anti-virus go with Nod32 or Kaspersky but stay away from Norton!
Hope to help!:money:0 -

Well dont majorly panic. But you really need to ask him and get HONEST answers out of him about it (I know kids, and they lie through their teeth about computers):idea:0
