Everybody phone today, this is our chance to get all stores to understand conditional spend vouchers. I phoned and was told yes.

    Telephone 0800 505555

I have just rung up, was put on hold while she checked and was told that someone else asked earlier, and it has not yet been answered. They are going to ring me back with an answer today.

I took the advice from some one on here, sorry forgot who, and checked with the till supervisor at my local Tesco on saturday that they were aware of the national Tesco policy on this conditional spend coupon.Despite there not being a Morrisons in the vicinity they found the memo that had been sent out and are happy to accept the coupon so long as I spend £30.Stand your ground couponers you are in the right!

  • I've had a mixed experience today, I bought two Suns and decided to try and use them, in the same store one operator scanned it as ns after checking with a till supervisor, the other just refused but customer services gave me the money back after a bit of a struggle, they were willing to accept it but their tills at cs don't have a ns function unless you've bought something there. Worked out in the end, lets hope they print tommorows with a 99 barcode!
  • hi all, can you tell me if the £5 off will work before the discounts come off eg spend less than £30 after bogof

Just rang the 0800 number. I was assured that my local store at Wath near Rotherham will accept the voucher. This is because there is a Morrisons about 3 miles away. The lady had to ask the duty manager and I had to give my post code. I suggest ringing the 0800 505555 number as Claire21 suggested and checking your local stores policy.

I phoned and they are also accepting them at Barnsley Stairfoot and Sheffield Infirmary Road.

You should spend the minimum amount to use any spend and save voucher. So your net transaction (after discounts) should be over £30 for the Morrisons moc.

This flippin' Morrisons voucher isn't easy is it? Let's hope the next few coupons are printed with a 99 barcode - but I suspect not. I think Morrisons have used a different barcode deliberately, to stop Mr T from taking their business like last time.

There's no real comparison with the last similar promo, last August, because that time Morrisons were nice enough to put 99 barcodes on them!

Tesco should still accept them but many stores will not input any non-scan coupons. So you end up stuck with vouchers they should have taken under their own policy.

IMHO, customers could try sending the coupons plus your receipts to Dundee next week for reimbursement, that is if your store doesn't start taking them by the end of the week.

Excuse me for asking a daft question...but...

Why does everyone want to spend Morrisons vouchers at Tesco? What is wrong with spending them at Morrisons?

I guess its because Tesco take money off coupons for products you dont have to buy - have a look at the printable vouchers sticky at the top of this forum. I shopped today £54 and paid £21 after all my coupons and didnt but any products that I had coupons for.
