How do you report someone for shill bidding??

Sorry, I know there was another thread recently about shill bidding. I just popped on for a bit of advice as i'm looking for bundles of clothes for my daughter and found one cheap...thought i'd check the sellers feedback out and found that the seller has sold a lot of random sized bundles to the same person (who only has 1 feedback)
Both the seller and 'buyer''s spelling is pretty appauling (ok spelling does not usually bother me but seller refers to item as being 'nies' and buyer leaves feedback commenting on how 'nies' it smells! coincidence or what??) Am i just being paranoid or is something funny been going on here???

If google doesn't know it, how should i?

The spelling is pretty terrifying, but that person has only bid and won 3 items from that seller.

If it's shill bidding, then it's really rubbish shill bidding, because they won three times :) No-one else has been affected (so far!)

And they look like shoes and two dresses, not bundles... or am I looking at the wrong buyer?

Buyer has left seller 5 feedbacks, but seller has only left the buyer 3.
2 dresses, 1 pair of shoes, a bundle of size 14 clothes, and a bundle of 9-18 months baby clothes.
On the feedback left by seller for buyer it also shows a jumper size L.

Goofbay shows that buyer only buys from that seller too!!

Ah, ebay search doesn't go back that far.

Are they bumping up prices, or just winning?
The spelling is making my brain hurt, I had to stop looking :rotfl:

It looks like the seller isnt getting the price she wants so she bids on her other account so keep the items. Its definately the same person, Or atleast enough for ebay to investigate.
  • Looks like they are just winning, but i can't see if there is a way to see if they have bid on other stuff from same seller and lost? It's all a bit strange, maybe they are trying to save fees by having 'buyer' put a minimum price the seller wants for the item? or maybe there have been watchers who have spotted the dodgy goings on and just not bid after all lol

Nies catch. Flag the accounts and ebay will be able to check for IPs in common and so on.

I've emailed ebay anyway, although i have emailed them regarding something similar before and they didn't appear to do anything nor even reply.

There was a lady on the Freecycle group i used to help to run who had multiple i.ds on the group, and she was also trading on ebay....her main Freecycle i.d is also her main ebay i.d and she had a bidder with the same name as her secondary Freecycle i.d who bid on lots of her stuff!! Both accounts still active on ebay, and still going on now!!!

I must have been right to be suspicious, ebay have promptly replied saying that they take shill bidding seriously and investigated right away... can't tell me what action they have taken due to privacy, but it looks like all the sellers listings have been removed.
