I couldnt get on last night when I got home.....stoopid 'puter! Stoopid tinternet! I HATE when I cant get online!!!! Does anyone else feel like there missing something when you cant get on!?!? Or is it just me....Am I sad!:rotfl:

I need to have a bit of a rant and moan!!! Sorry......

Why is it that your child decides to grow out of all of their uniforms a week before the last half term and this close to the summer??!?!??!??!? I dont want to go out and buy him all new just now because trousers wont fit by September and he moves up to Juniors so buying a new Infant Uniform now, is going to be a complete waste of money!!!!! He has a load of school shorts which I thought would see him through to the end of term and they have been rendered useless as it has rained relentlessly in South Wales since forever!!! (Well, it feels like forever!!)

    Rant off!

Triker - bigs hugs! That just sucks. There isnt anything to be said really except, pour more wine.......You will care about the mess less! :D

Quillion - You take it easy now lovely.....

MISS A - Well done PRINCESS, what a lovely, thoughtful thing to do and I know that Tootles will LOVE IT!! If Im not too late, will you please add my name to the card please? Thank you very much Angel xx

    Good morning everyone!
nicki hope you manage to stay at work
rach hope your DH does well! Good luck with the interview!!!

Well the rains just started but I'd not long since put the towels on the line so they can fupping wait while I type this. DPs got a test today and could do with some good luck vibes (starts at 12 noon) as it's costing me £195 inc instructors time, could do without needing to retest!

Have started pulling the sitting room apart to deep clean, why? Because DPs lost my USB modem grrrrr!!!! I did want to do it before we went away so got the extra motivation, I need my internet :o

    So far I've

Boys up and out to school
Dug out and vacuumed out inside one part of the sofa (ours is a corner thingamy in 2 pieces) dug out the others which just need vacuuming
Cleaned behind one radiator (must remember to get DP to get the remote control from behind there as it's wedged)
General shovelled anything dumped onto the floor into a big pile
Cleared 14 cans away (guess who....)
Sorted post and yelled at a bank statement (incorrect payment taken, need to get DP to sort it)
Put towels on line (now getting wet)
    Put another washer load in
    Walked the dog

No sign of the modem yet but have found my kitchen scissors, a PSP (been missing for ages) a USB stick I was accused of loosing (where he sits!!) and muchos other toys, cutlery and general junk!

See the rains gone again now, knew it was worth waiting
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

GnB, what a helpful man at the Passport Office! Great customer service – ring back and eventually you might speak to someone who knows the answer! I am sooo impressed

Penguin, well done on getting your first star! That’s great! Now start working on your next one!

    Nicki STAY AT WORK

Rach, hope your DH’s exam goes well

FFP, LOL at sounding like Barry White, quick release some records while you are ill. Hope you are feeling better soon

Jo, could you blag some uniform off another mum with a bigger kid? Or does the school have any hand me downs?

I've been up an hour, really want to go back to bed! I'm so tired! And I need to rest a lot today cos I promised a friend I would take her to Thorpe Park tomorrow. I don't really enjoy those places, but she really wanted to go. She's had a lot of health problems lately and has been really down, so she deserves a fun day out. She might cancel as she's had a bad belly for 2 weeks, so maybe we won't have to go (I'm kinda hoping, is that bad?:o).

My aims for the day are to:
    • wash up
    • tidy LR floor (including bit which was under the armchair. DH has moved the chair to a new place and uncovered lots of bits that were 'stored' under there

This weeks MACAW - No wine in the evenings!

Mozzy - I forgot to say in my last post - I also Freeze little ones lunches. I buy woopsied rolls, or bread, or pittas, or whatever, and make them all up into sandwiches/rolls etc, with fillings which can be frozen and individually wrap them.

I also buy woopsied muffins/scones etc and put jam on them (the scones obviously, not the muffins) and then wrap them all individually and chuck them in the freezer. I take a sandwich/roll out every day and voila! He doesnt have a muffin or a scone every day, but when he can have one, they are all ready to go. No messing around everyday.

    xx

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Lucky you!!! I've done the long-haul move too many times to want to do it again in a hurry (moved to and from South Africa - went in 1990, back in 1996. Again in 1997, back in 1998. Again in 2003, back in 2004!) Mind you, I did suggest half-jokingly (well ok not jokingly at all!) that when he retires we should move to Cyprus, which he immediately agreed with. He hates it here, and the thought of living here forever depresses him no end.
