Ohhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo. I came in from work and most of the contents of the chimney are all over the living room. Carpets ruined...... everythings covered in soot.
Tried clearing up but its going everywhere.
We had a bit of a freak storm earlier just mega gusty winds and then huge downpours so I reckon it was that.
Basically we need to move everything out to get the carpet out but I can't face it. Hubby isn't home yet either so haven't told him either.

Hi Miss A
I bet your card is lovely and I am sure Toots will love it! Please could you put my name on to. Have a good day at school tomorrow x
Will catch up properly in a bit. ds has been quite poorly over the last few hours. He had his pre-school booster a week ago. The nurse said that children can have a reaction up to 10 days after the jab, so I wondered if that's whats wrong. :undecided He is really flushed, feels really hot but he is complaining of being really cold. His ears are really hurting, which makes me wonder if it is something else, and not down to the jab. I hate it when the children are ill; I always feel really helpless . I have just given him calpol but he just keeps crying. He is with dh but calling for me, so I had better go. See you all later xxx

Crawls in…Hi! Work was good today. The ladies I was working with were really nice and so were the old people. I was in a HUGE sheltered housing place run by the Council, and some of the residents need a bit of extra help to stay there, so there is a team of carers on site that look after them. I went round with one of the carers and met a lot of the residents. It was nice. Very hard work today, much harder than being out and about going to people’s houses. I think it’s because there was so much walking! We must have walked miles up and down the corridors! I’m going to need a map when I go round on my own!
I completely worn out this evening, but I enjoyed the day. DH is cooking steak for dinner, so that will perk me up!
Greenbee/Rach/Flower just read your discussion about food on the old thread. Was really interested in what you said. I’ve found that since I’ve been eating every 2 hours, I’ve majorly cut back on chocolate/sweets with no effort at all! I’ve had complements on my skin (spotty chin now got much less spots) and I’ve been told I’ve lost weight! I’ve been eating more protein, and having things with oats in like granary bread, neutragrain bars and cereal bars, and I’ve more energy and much less depressed because I’m not having that drop in blood sugar that is so horrible and tiring. Didn’t manage the 2 hour thing today, as I had 2 breaks in 7 ½ hours, and I did eat chocolate when I got home but it’s ok
Going to catch up with the thread if I can get the lappy back from DH at some point this evening
