    Bengals are such beautiful cats.
    Are they quite affectionate?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Very very affectionate. They follow you around the house everywhere you go. I find them more affectionate then moggies. You find that moggies will just laze around but Bengals are very active and will play all day long. They are expensive though. Oscar was cheaper then the new one because he is ticked, the new one however will have a stunningly clear soft coat in adult hood and is better quality. Also they don't have moggy fur they have a pelt, which is just a one layer of the most lovely tight silky feel to it. They hardly shed hair. They are very nosey and jump very high, my Oscar jumps on top of the doors like an acrobat. Very vocal as well.

three cats that were born feral seem to have adopted me, so apparently I have three cats now! only 1 is friendly at the moment but the other two are coming around slowly. the first guy is a real pet, you'd never think he was feral a few months ago! he loves to sit in you're lap and be stroked now.

Anyway, I have a large dog kennel out in the backyard for them with blankets and boxes with hay in them and they go in there at night or when it's raining, it's wooden so very warm and cosy.

If you live in the town though I'd be worried about letting him out all night, besides traffic there are cruel people around who kill cats and also the danger of dogs and urban foxes.

My cats have a cat flap so they have no need for an outdoor shelter.

We have a garden shed and we have taken to leaving the door open so next door's cats can shelter from the rain as they are often out all day and night! It didn't go down too well with our cats at first but they seem to tolerate it now.

I suspect your cats are secretely trying to work out how they can lock the door while the others are in there ;)

I looked out this morning to see one of my cats sat on the fence with a neighbours cat, who I have always said looks JUST like another of my cats. only their noses are different colours. Needless to say, my cat looked really confused, and was sniffing away at this cat!! neighbours cat seemed to take it in his stride anyway :D
