Small Digi TV

Apologies if this is the wrong place. I want a small digital TV for my small bedroom which is downstairs for health reasons. At the moment I have a TV and digi box. As far as I can see it should be HD ready and the facility to play DVDs. What else should I be looking for and which make do people prefer?

One thing to consider - HD probably isn't worth having on a small TV, because the pixel count will probably be too low for you to see any improvement over standard definition.

If you can afford it, I would go for one of the better-known makers such as Sony, Philips or Panasonic - they are likely to give the best reliability, and will also give you least difficulty if it does go wrong.

If you're near to a Comet or Dixons, go in and find the make/model that you think gives the best picture, then find the best price online.
