bought from fake website help?

hi folks, i bought an item from a website & i think i might have been conned. i paid through google checkout. i checked my bank acount & it shows the money has been taken for the item i bought. i have tried to contact the seller numerous times but never received an answer. when i log into my google account it says the item has been shipped.
i'm not confident it is going to show up so if this is the case, how do i go about getting my money back?

the site claims to be an auction site called orbay.co.uk

Did you pay with a Visa debit card? If so, you can contact your card provider and ask for a chargeback. If not, how did you pay?

    How much was the item?
    Gone ... or have I?

You'll be fine. Assuming you have left sufficient time for delivery, just ring your bank and explain the situation and they should reimburse you.

just an update, i've still received no replies from this seller.
my bank said all they could do was open a dispute with the company which could take up to 3 months & would not guarentee my money back.
i eventually managed to file for a refund through google checkout & within a day or so was issued a (partial) refund. i paid £91 but was refunded £82.
as it stands i have paid £9 for nothing... not happy about that but i've asked for the remainder of the refund to be paid immediatey.

i left negetive feedback on the orbay website & as you could predict it was removed the next day when i checked. pity the seller couldn't have been so quick to respond to any of my many questions or actually respond at all.

i would warn anybody who is unfortunate enough to stumble across orbay.co.uk to swiftly move on, unless you'd like to be conned *
