morgage payment protection insurance

Hi, I'm new on here.
I need some advice quickly, in January my company made my job redundant but offered me the chance to go for another job which I was offered on April 6th on a 6 month trial period.
The job is alot more then I considered and I am having difficulties in managing the requirements (from a personal perspective, I have been diagnosed with depression and my mother has been diagnosed with diabetes). This has in all honesty made me want to stop the trial as my mother does the collection and looks after my children whilst I am at work.

I have been told I can decide if I want to stop the trial and walk away with my severence, but how will this affect my MPPI?

If the company decides that I am not performing to the level required and terminate the trial does that mean I can claim on my MPPI?

I have been in continous employment with my company for over 18 years.
I may not be able to work for a while whilst I sort out all my personal issues, how does this affect my claim?

Most polices cover for only involuntary redundancy. If you decide to leave your job with work having offered you another position then that would be classed as voluntary redundancy.

Given that you would have chosen to leave work rather than being made redundant I cant imagine a policy would cover you for that.

Best you check the small print of your policy.
