Petrol or diesel?

Run a quick check on autotrader, should give you the price span for any specific variant you like the look of (use advanced search)

My best friend has one and has had no problems as yet. Used for a pretty mamouth road trip to the alps this year and was very capable all round.

Fuel economy is ok mid 20's, maybe a bit higher on a run. But get the diesel, petrol will be in teens if not lower. If your used to the range the interior isn't quite as plush, but cost of running will be similar if not a tad cheaper.

Prices as above have a quick look on auto trader as they vary quite a lot depending on spec and engine choice.

Thank you both for your input, it would be a diesel we get and he has his eye on a 57 plate SE (I think), how much does it cost to change his PP?

£80 if you do a cherished transfer (a straight swap). Or £105 if you put it on retention first.
