DLA Tribunal Won

Options
Afternoon, I just wanted to let you know my child won her Tribunal:j,the tribunal panel wanted to see her, they asked her questions, she was so brave. For those waiting for a tribunal good luck,I was really afraid, but in the end we got our result. Good luck to others waiting for their tribunal.

So pleased for you - well done. Can I ask ? Where was the Tribunal ? I mean - was it like in your home town ? I have agoraphobia and cant travel so if I didnt get it and appealed I couldnt go anywhere to go to a tribunal ?

It is a really good feeling to win. We went to tribunal last time and won. Annoying though as you know your child and her problems yet the decsion maker just reads the form and says no! Well done. We are just waiting on our renewal decsion.

I hope that other posters waiting for their tribunal will get their result! Thanks to those who where pleased for us,it was so worrying, but very quick,we only had to wait two months !!,I thought we lost it because I have read of other tribunal taking months to be heard. Thanks again to all.

Would anyone who have had a tribunal be able to tell me how long before they got their payments sorted out,and with having a mobility car(which we can now hold on to)will the back dated money be paid straight to motability ?
Thanks in advance.......Good luck to everyone else, try not to worry,I know is hard not to,we did,but in the end it worked for us.....

We won tribunal and was able to sort out a motability car ust by using the award letter we were given at the tribunal. We didnt have to wait for the money to go into our account which took just over 3 weeks. The backdated money went into our account and not to motability as they only started taking payments once we had the car.
