Halifax Sharebuilder & Hoodless Brennan - US Market

Options
Hi All

I am looking at starting out in buying shares & want to take Martin's advise to use either of these two companies/products; however I wish to buy some shares on the American market & cannot confirm from their websites whether this is posssible or not. Can any one out there with experience confirm whether I could or not?

Thanks in advance

As soon as you look at a nyse listed share the halifax one should prompt you to sign a disclaimer about higher currency risks and also so you dont have to pay tax

afaik this can be done online but some brokers will requires forms to filled out and sent in

I doubt either of them list all the american shares or etf
