I was thinking the same thing but am not 100% happy with HSBC lately - since most communications are with India I find myself going around in circles with them.
Hence why you never use telephone banking or internet banking help lol.....
However with HSBC if you are over 21 you have to pay at least £500 a month to get a current account. So if he doesn't get one now he won't in the future unless he pays in salary/wages from job.0 -
