Compression or push fit

On polypropylene pipes why is there compression and push fit fittings. Apart from the slight difference in prices are compression fittings better than push fit for getting a secure tight fitting , would like some answers on this.
Also l'm putting a 32mm tee in my pipes under the sink so l would like to know what is the difference between 32mm 92.5 tee and a 90 degree 32mm tee. Will both work ok on draining waste water away from seperate waste runs.

I think the 92.5 degree tee is designed that the water comes vertically down, then turns a corner but onto a slight slope to continue the fall - 2.5 degrees from horizontal.

I've used pushfit and compression throughout my house, and much prefer the push fit. As long as you have the correct tool for cutting the pipe square, and make sure you push it fully in then you always get a good secure connection, and far far easier than compression.

You have to have the right waste pipe to use with the push fit fittings, where as the compression ones will work with slightly differant sizes.

I think that compression v push-fit is also going to be down to personal preference. I prefer push-fit for awkward corners and inaccessible areas, compression for high-pressure (mains) and soldered where it needs to be flush or set into narrow channels. I should just pick one and stick with it I suppose!
