a friend went to morrisons last night and checked she had money in account before shopping.
Comes to pay , says declined. Goes bk to cash machine balance has gone down. Checks online and it says money has gone out!(shows the exact amount on rbs).
She didnt keep the decline receipt!!
Would i be right in thinking that the transaction will just fall of her account in a few days or will she have to write to her bank/morrisons?
Any help would be appreciated

For everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.

Got me worried now. Had difficulties having my card accepted at 2 locations around 8pm last night.
They went through, but the card was swiped more than once!!0 -
This happenened to me at Tesco. I used my Barclaycard to pay for £20 fuel.
On the first attempt, entered my pin, it said pin ok, then it came up transaction aborted.
On the second attempt, entered my pin, it said pin ok, then transaction successful.
Get's home and checked Barclaycard and there was 2 lots of £20 pending. Only 1 was taken from my account and the other dropped off after about 5 days.
The system will probably know there has been an error and not take the amount.0 -
OP sounds like your account is with RBS any failed transactions normally fall off after 2 days if not claimed by the company.0
