Missing Map on TomTom SatNav?

My friend is off to Florida on hols shortly and downloaded the South East USA map from TomTom. She then tried to copy it to her TT 720 and got an 'insufficient memory' message. This model has an SD card slot for additional memory. So she inserted a 2GB SD card and copied the map to that. All seemed OK. But when you switch on the satnav, the new map does not appear in the country list. Does this have to be accessed from another menu maybe, (i.e. a separate location for the flash memory and the SD card?) or has she installed it wrongly?

IIRC (having owned a TomTom for a few years) it has to be in a folder with the right name.

Thanks, but she's worked it out-you have to go:
CHANGE PREFERENCES> MANAGE MAPS> SWITCH MAP, then Select a Map. It then appears as a new option (in addition to the European maps).
With some of the older models you must also install on the SD card the application and one voice (because it can't read from both sources at once), however the 720 does not require anything but the map to be installed on the SD card.
