Anyone have the above printer, anyone impressed with it, whats the price of cartridges like, its £75 on amazon which i think is a good price for a printer

It's a good price - I don't recall ever seeing it's predecessor the MP610 much below £100.
However, the one criticism levelled at this printer (rightly IMO) is that they chose to make the cartridges smaller, yet keep the price for them around the same.
Fortunately, chipped compatible carts have recently become available for the MP610, so no doubt the same will be true for the 630 soon as well.
One other backward step (IIRC) with the 630 is that they reduced the resolution of the scanner, but I may be remembering that wrong - it's easy to check on the Canon website. It's academic for most people, as on full resolution the 610 produces incredibly large files when scanning anything of any size.0 -
