    The cheapest policy is with AutoAid and I think the latest price is £32. However this is a "pay and claim" service.
    i.e. you have to pay for any problems and then claim the money back.

    If you don't want to do pay and claim then someone like First call might be your best best and I think there are about £40.

    Try https://www.moneysupermarket.com and try their search engine.

    I don't think there are any discounts available for age.

    I just got car recovery for our car for £15.70 via Green flag and Quidco cashback site. Its just a basic recover but you could opt for a better one. See my post in moroting forum, cheap car recovery from £15.70.

    Yep, mine referred to "platinum"style recovery.
    i.e. roadside assistance, recovery, at home and onward travel (train, hire car etc).

    You can get cheaper by limiting the cover.
