Email from easyjet ref amended flight - HELP

HI All

I have just had a email from easyjet about my return flight - no 8854 from Sharm Sheikh on 27th August to Gatwick. They said it needs to reschedule.

Thry give the options that I can either:

1. cancel with refund
2. accept the transfer

The problem is, they dont say where the transfer is from.
I have even checked the easyjet website and the flight is still for sale.

Any further information in the email.

Any ideas where I can find the info other than calling them or does anyone in the know, know more.

I cancel but a alternate flight for the family is like an extra £800.

Something similar happened to me...........i could choose to book any similar flight any day any time up to a week either side of the cancelled booking......my original flight cost £17,and i could have booked another flight of any value within that 2 week period........edit.....obviously to same destination,and of couse with easyjet...........edit again........check your timings,if they change the flight by even 1 hour you still get this email..

The things is, as we have booked accomadation the other end, I would prefer to keep the flights and accept the transfer, yet, they dont say anything about the transfer.

I have just accessed my flight detials online and can actually amend me return flight to same flight as its listed. Its still available.

This really annoying and first time I have flown with easyjet.

It is likely that they mean to transfer you to a flight on a different day/ time, not to transfer you to a different airport. If you are not sure you really need to call them.
