NO sound on Wii

Hi -

I have my Wii connected to my Sony DAVDZ260 via phono lead to scart adapter but I can't seem to get any sound out at all. I've gone through all the functions on the cinema system and none output the sound. Strangely, when I an old headphone splitter I had, connected it up to the "audio in" at the front of the DAVDZ260 and then connected the red and white phono lead to that I managed to get a very low sound from the Wii, but even on fully volume I could hardly hear it..

Any ideas?

I would guess a faulty scart adaptor, or it's the wrong type. Did the adaptor come with the Wii?

Nope I bought it off eBay, I guess it may just be faulty then.

SOunds obvious but have you given the scart connector a good wiggle?

yeah tried that, it's in properly.
