Hi
I am currently doing all the usual holiday sites for the best price on the Eurostar to Bruges for 2 nights in October..
i thought I would ask here in case someone knew of any offers on Eurostar or discounts etc as you have been a great bunch of people here and very helpful!!
I am also looking at a good hotel for 4 adults (4 of us on Eurostar too)
Any recommendations on websites??
is it best to book Eurostar seperatley? and hotel?? or do package deal together??

I've been to Bruges twice, first time stayed at Jan Brito hotel and second time at Flanders hotel. Both were excellent, and within easy walking distance of the main squares.0

Thanks Julie!
Did you go via Eurostar?
How long ago did you go?
Will check out these hotels... Are any more boutique? (i think thats what my wife wants!) lol

Well the permanent offer is that your Eurostar ticket to Brussels is valid to any Belgian station0

2006 - went by car with friends
2008 - Eurostar to Brussels then local train, very straight forward journey. www.seat61.com will give tips on changing trains at Brussels.
Never quite sure what constitutes a boutique hotel! Your wife might like something like the Orangerie, though it's a bit pricier than the hotels I mentioned.0 -
You can book the eurostar and hotel as a package through lastminute.com.
It is possible to book for 3 nights to Brussels for £125 per person (in four star hotel).
Unfortunately, you cannot book that far ahead and it seems that Bruges is more expensive. Eurostar and two nights in a four star hotel packages start from around £150 per person.

If you book the package on lastminute, you can also claim cashback of 7% through QUIDCO.COM.
Have a look at the NH Bruge, price per person £150:

i cant emphasise how easy changing at brussels is to go to anywhere in belgium.
i went in february to Ghent (which i thought was just as nice and nowehre near as touristy as Bruges) and to change trains is stupiudly easy.
we went with cresta travel and got free 1st class upgrades on eurostar - and quidco!0
