i have beem offered zone alarm internet security suite 2009 3pc user for 9.95 FOR 12mths how good is zone alarm + how easy is it to install as im not to tecnical when it comes to pcs cheers

Its pretty good and for that price its quite decent with 3 licensense.

The drawback - well it does prompt the user to make decisions a lot and can become a pain - especially if you dont know what it is thats trying to access the internet.

I tried Panda Internet Security, that was very easy - it didn' do t the same amount of prompting.

Kasperskey Internet security (freebie I got from barclays bank for 12 months) is the same as panda.

Zonealarm's biggest problem is the prompts and if you are not technical then suggest one of the two above. You could consider Nortons but thats a memory hogger.

Good price but why pay if you dont have to there plenty of free security that'll do the job just as good for, well free.

Just got rid of ZA Pro (had it 2 years) & moved to Kasperskey (free from Barclays). ZA is quite resource hungry when updating & scanning. Kasperskey is much more unobtrusive.

I like ZA it is a decent firewall. But i recently move to Bitdefender Total security. I like to mix it up every few years
