New York - June 2007 - family of 4 from M/cr - when is best time to book

We want to go to New York first week in June next year - when is best time to book to get cheap flights and which airline should I use. I can't imagine us getting anything for less than £350 each?

Any advice on accommocation would be greatly appreciated also.

Thanks

Try American Airlines direct website - they 'promise' you will not get a cheaper flight by booking elsewhere (apparently!).

Also have a look at the United Airlines website - i think they are both offering flights for £249 - but limited travel times of course.

I have just stayed in the Hotel Pennsylvania. Great Budget hotel - by Empire state and Macys. Check out Trip advisor website for reviews - some are very bad - but trust me the hotel is fine.

    Hope this helps.

You will not be able to buy your ticket till June 2006 at the earliest, maybe even only 11 months before

Continental do direct flights from Manchester and if you book as soon as they become available, you will get it at the lowest price (and the way pricing works with them, is even if it went down to the last few days before the flight, it would be no lower than the starting price if that makes sense)

Do a search on this forum for New York, there are hundreds of posts as I have replied to most of them and as the other person says, try www.tripadvisor.com. You can post a question on New york there and get an answer within minutes.
