bos bank charges

I am with bank of scotland and last month I went £1.06 over my overdraft. I was charged £35 because they paid the item and then a further £28 for going into an unauthorised overdraft. I called my phone banking and they very kindly stopped the charges before they came out.
Unfortunetly the same thing has happened this month....for a grand total of £1.09 i am being charged £63! Is there any way that they will refund it again if i call or do you think it was a one off?
I realise i am at fault for going over but currently I am supporting myself and my partner on what is a pretty crappy wage so finding £63 is a pretty hard task!!
thanks in advance!
